Ready to dive into a sea of olive trees? Son Mesquidassa aspires to become one of the main olive oil routes and to set a benchmark for quality olive oil not only in Majorca but also in Europe. A visit to our estate is an unmissable event for those who love culture and tradition and who wish to discover the whole process of making authentic olive oil with all five senses. Shall we begin?

A visit to our estate begins with a video showing the entire olive oil production process at Son Mesquidassa: from harvesting to bottling. Outside, in our sea of olive trees, you will learn about our production system and our olive trees. You will be able to touch the trees, their leaves, their wood and their fruits. Afterwards, you will enter the facilities to learn about the stages of oil production and the different machines used: from the reception of the olives to bottling, including our milling and oil extraction equipment as well as our impressive cellar.

To round off the experience, you will have several options to choose from. You may ride a “little train” through the olive grove, giving you the feeling of “sailing” among the olive trees. Alternatively, you may also take part in a tasting session by our olive oil specialists, where you will have the chance to appreciate the nuances and pure aromas of each type of oil. Or you may savour a “pa amb oli”, an extremely simple Majorcan dish that is present in every home on the island and which will undoubtedly satisfy your appetite after the visit.

Finally, if you wish, you can stop by our shop and buy the products elaborated at Son Mesquidassa along with a selection of other traditional Majorcan products made by local farmers.
