Next Saturday, 4 July, Son Mesquidassa will host a charity dinner in aid of the Fundació Campaner, a Mallorcan organisation working in the fight against Noma, a very serious childhood disease that especially affects children in Niger.

The Fundació Campaner works from Mallorca to support the treatment, prevention and eradication of Noma, a childhood disease that mainly affects the most vulnerable: children aged 2 to 6 living in contexts of malnutrition and extreme poverty.

During the event, Oli Campaner will be presented, a solidarity edition of extra virgin olive oil produced by Son Mesquidassa. An oil created especially to support the foundation’s work and give visibility to a cause that deserves to be known.

The label of this edition features a work by Joan Costa, a Mallorcan artist born in Palma, with a long career linked to sculpture, marble and bronze.

Oli Campaner brings together three elements closely connected to our land: olive oil, art and solidarity.

The dinner will take place in the olive grove of Son Mesquidassa and will also include an exhibition of sculptures by Joan Costa, music by the Xeremiers d’Algaida and Arpellots Band, raffles and different activities linked to the initiative.

After its presentation, Oli Campaner will be available for purchase, and all proceeds will go to the Fundació Campaner and its fight against Noma.

A bottle of olive oil may seem like a small thing.
But when it is born from a cause like this, every drop counts.
